ANIO VETUS 2
A POWERFUL AND IMPRESSIVE COMBINATION OF ARCHITECTURE, GRAPHICS, PHOTOGRAPHY AND COLLAGE
This artistic project was born from the Sbagliato's desire to generate a disruption in the urban fabric, creating “gaps” within the rigid order of architectural planning.
An art project founded in 2011 by three Roman architects and designers, Sbagliato was born from the desire to generate a disruption in the urban fabric, creating “gaps” within the rigid order of architectural planning. This desire is expressed through the use of the poster, an ideal means of communication due to its ephemeral nature and its mimetic attitude, both of which are distinctive features of the group’s aesthetic.
The visionary installations of Sbagliato came about through a synergy between architecture, graphics, photography, and collage, wherein architectural elements can be “sampled,” elaborated, and repurposed in an urban context, in a heterogeneous but deliberate way.
The project is part of the Estate Romana 2018.
